Ed Haselden Receives Friend of the Department Award

At the CM Awards Banquet on Sept. 10, the department recognized Ed Haselden as the first inductee into the Construction Hall of Fame and presented him with a Friend of the Department Award for his outstanding vision, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Haselden was the catalyst for raising major gifts and support for the new Preconstruction Center.

Haselden, is president and CEO of Haselden Construction, LLC, in Denver. He also serves as secretary on the CSU System Board of Governors and is the Colorado State University B.O.C. Real Estate Committee Chair. He is a member of the Denver Metro Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, Douglas County Regional Catholic Schools Corporation Board of Trustees, the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and the U.S. Bank Board of Advisors. Ed served as President of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Colorado and currently serves as a National Director of AGC of America.

Additionally, Ed is the Rocky Mountain Chapter World President’s Organization Chairman of the Board, Past Chair of Machebeuf Catholic High School Board of Trustees and Past Chair of DIA Partnership. Ed holds degrees in Architectural Engineering and in Business Finance from the University of Colorado.
