Careers and Internships
What is the Phelps Placement Office (PPO)?
The Construction Management program at Colorado State University is fortunate to have a strong in-house placement program for its students upon graduation and as part of summer work experiences and internships. Named after 1951 graduate, Joseph Phelps, the Phelps Placement Office (PPO) assists students throughout their academic careers with career services and job placement.
During their academic career, Construction Management students have the requirement and opportunity of obtaining internship (full-time structured work experience, during the summer or 6-month semester/summer), and work experience (part- or full-time work, summer or semester) positions with a variety of construction companies and organizations. The Phelps Placement Office (PPO) also assists graduating students and alumni with in-house interviews, bi-annual Career Fairs, and the publication of a Graduate Resume CD.
